Brief Description: A site for parents who feel that their child may be in danger. Created by the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, this site gives background knowledge, the signs your child may be at risk, what to do in response to this, and frequently asked questions.
Review: The facts, signs, response ideas and frequently asked questions are all helpful to parents but it does not help them talk to their children more easily about internet safety. Although its facts are dependable and knowledgeable, it gives signs for parents to look out for in their children that they may be at risk, and what to do if they see these signs in their children. The frequently asked questions section gives parents a good idea what other parents are asking, and how to answer any of those questions.
Key Benefits: The signals for if a child might be at risk online is extremely helpful to parents who know what their children are doing online, and the response techniques seem easy and dependable.

And although it’s title is to “teach” kids online security, they don’t give parents a helpful way to talk to their kids, just basic facts about internet safety, and how they can keep kids safe, not how to teach their children to keep themselves safe. But the tips and facts are very helpful and to parents who don’t know the basics, it can give them a good head start.

It also gives tips and hotlines to call in emergencies, and additional resources for parents to do more research on the subject.
Key Benefits: Created by a group of kids, for parents is a great way to insure communication between parents and their children. And with so many tips extra tips and resources there is sure to be some to help parents understand and teach kids internet safety.
